Many gourds will not sit properly, especially after embellishing them with your favorite doodads. This Gourd base is made to fit into a 2-1/2" hole drilled into the bottom of a gourd to stabilize it. They are unfinished so you can paint, stain, or dye them to match your work. They are tapered for a nice snug fit, however we recommend gluing them in place.
