Your backyard buddies will enjoy filling their tummies at these all natural fly-in gourd diners. These gourd bird feeders are made exclusively from Martin gourds, they hang from a tree or pole with a rawhide strip. Great for suet, they can also be loaded with seed. Just put a screen over the drainage holes to stop the seeds from falling through. Cardinals love when you fill them with Black Oil Sunflower.

Care of your Gourd Bird Feeder

Your birdfeeder comes with 2 coats of polyurethane on it. After being in the sun for a while, you may notice the feeder needs another coat. Just bring it in, wipe it off, give it a light sanding, and spray on a fresh coat of polyurethane. If you prefer, it may be brushed on instead.
